Social Office Robot Autonomous
SORA is our Final Year Project (FYP) at is polytechnic. It is an autonomous robot that navigates around the office environment and serves guests drinks. The robot runs on ROS Kinetic and uses Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) to navigate around the environment. The robot can be controlled through a graphical web interface handled by the receptionist. When the robot is not required, it will automatically navigate back to its self-charging dock.

The charging docks uses line tracing with a proportional controller to guide the robot.
